Electrifying Lift for UNIC URW-095 Mini Crane
A UNIC URW-095 mini crane was recently commissioned to help lift and place transformers at a substation in the Czech Republic.
Access was restricted and the working area available was very limited, the compact UNIC URW-095 mini crane was able to easily work in between existing transformers for a lift with precision and control. The 0.995 tonne spider crane had to be operated with accuracy to work around obstacles such as sections of steelwork and existing transformers.
The small working footprint and slender 600mm width of the UNIC URW-095 mini crane made it the perfect machine for this project. Featuring up to nearly 1 tonne of lifting power, this mini crane can lift up to a height of 8.8m making it the ultimate machine or lifting in confined spaces.
UNIC mini spider cranes are often used as safer lifting solutions for working in restricted access areas at electrical substations around the world.
