Unic Mini Cranes On The Menu At Michelin Star Restaurant
A UNIC Cranes Europe mini crane took on a tasty task at Raymond Blanc’s double Michelin star restaurant, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Oxfordshire.
The used URW-295 UNIC mini crane was purchased by timber design and construction specialists, Stephen Roux Ltd, Cornwall, to build a timber bridge and install it in the grounds of the celebrity chef’s restaurant.
The bridge was constructed in Stephan Roux’s workshop in Cornwall before being transported and installed in Le Manoir aux Quat’Saison’s grounds in Oxfordshire.
Stephan Roux Ltd specializes in the design, construction and erection of traditional and modern Green Oak, Douglas Fir and Larch heavy structural timber frame buildings and structures.
Stephan Roux, managing director of Stephan Roux Ltd, commented: “Buying a URW-295 UNIC mini crane from UNIC Cranes Europe was a no-brainer really. For us, it’s such a useful piece of equipment because it allows us to build constructions at our workshop as well as build and install structures onsite in any number of environments. It’s strong but it’s compact so it doesn’t restrict our creativity!”
Graeme Riley, CEO of UNIC Cranes Europe, commented: “It never ceases to amaze us the variety of companies that come to think of UNIC Cranes Europe’s mini cranes as essential equipment. We like to think we’ve seen it all in terms of the wealth of projects our equipment is used for on a day-to-day basis, but we’re constantly pleasantly surprised.”
