Iceland
Working way up North in Iceland, UNIC mini spider cranes assisted with the installation of curtain walling and soundproofing the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik over the stretch of two years.
A UNIC URW-706 also provided heavy lifting within an Icelandic hydroelectric power station, whilst three URW-506 mini cranes helped install a large amusement ride inside an Icelandic shopping mall.
Czech Republic
UNIC mini cranes are extremely popular in the Czech Republic, working on a variety of important projects. A UNIC URW-706 was commissioned to assist with installing bulletproof windows on a historic Czech Republic Government building.
Mini spider cranes have also scaled the heights of Sněžka Mountain to lift steelwork whilst replacing the oldest operating cableway in Europe.
Dubai
Our dealer in Dubai always have UNIC mini spider cranes working on a variety of jobs. Projects have included the commission of two UNIC URW-376 mini cranes lifting steel beams as part of Dubai’s EXPO 2020 Metro expansion initiative.
