UNIC Spider Crane Helps Make Over Dubai Resturant
A UNIC mini spider crane was hired from our UAE dealers Orientals Specialist Lifting to help give the award winning Pierchic restaurant in Dubai a make over.
The Pierchic Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeirah is renowned for being one of the most picturesque destinations in Dubai. Situated at the end of a pier, the prestigious restaurant offers amazing views of the Burj Khalifa and the Arabian Gulf.
A UNIC URW-295 mini spider crane was used to move a new chiller unit weighing 1 tonne into position. This crane model was chosen as it was able to safely lift the heavy load in a very limited working space with restricted access.
Thanks to some help from this UNIC mini crane, the renovated Pierchic restaurant is due to reopen in October 2014.
UNIC mini spider cranes are often used for lifting work in restaurants, such as glazing, lifting pizza ovens (Radisson Blu hotel, Dubai) and signage (The Perfectionists’ Cafe, Heathrow airport).
