UNIC Lift Fit for a King
Two UNIC mini spider cranes were recently used to help lift new glazing into place in an Old Mill which forms part of the Okor Castle Walls in the Czech Republic.
The UNIC URW-706 and UNIC URW-295 mini crane were commissioned by UNIC Cranes Europe Czech Dealer, KMB STAVEBNI SERVIS to assist with the install of these oversize glass pieces.
With the glass weighing in at 300kg and 500kg, the 6 tonne capacity UNIC URW-706 spider crane worked alongside the miniature URW-095 to install the new glazing with both precision and control. The URW-706 then lifted the lightweight and compact URW-095 on to the castle wall to complete the project.
The UNIC URW-706 offers unrivalled lifting power with its class-beating minimal dimensions and weight. Boasting from a lifting capacity of 6 tonnes, this mini crane retains all the benefits of our smaller UNIC models. For added lifting flexibility, the 706 also can also be fitted with an optional searcher hook and a 3.1m long fly jib deliver a maximum hook height of 22.7m where required.
The UNIC URW-095 mini spider crane boasts from nearly one tonne of lifting power and can truly access all areas thanks to its slender 600mm width and lightweight frame. This mini spider crane features a lifting height of up to 8.8m, making it the ultimate machine for projects of this kind where working space is confined and restricted.
