10 tonne UNIC spider goes to the city
The highest capacity mini crane in the UNIC range, the UNIC URW-1006, proved recently that although it is bigger than the other UNIC models it still ideal for working in cramped city centres.
The 10 tonne capacity UNIC URW-1006, the world’s strongest mini crane, was hired to install glazing at a high-rise apartment building in Manchester city centre, UK. Fitted with a 1000kg capacity fly jib, the UNIC crane was able to safely lift glass units to a 20 metre height using the incredible reach of its telescoping boom.
At only 2 metres wide when in transport mode, this spider crane could easily be moved around the site and repositioned to reach each awkward installation point whilst working around obstacles such as the nearby cabins.
The UNIC URW-1006 model boasts a generous 24.3 metre working radius and a 30.7 metre lifting height, making it a great choice for high level work in restricted access environments.
