UNIC URW-706 Installs Glass On Czech Republic Government Building
It’s not all politics when it comes to having the best cranes for the job, but the UNIC URW- 706 would get our vote!
A UNIC mini spider crane recently assisted with the installation of new glass windows for the Straka Academy (Strakova Akademie) building in Prague.
The UNIC URW-706 was commissioned to help lift and install three pieces of bulletproof glass on this Czech Republic Government Building. Each piece of glass weighed in at 120kg, meaning that the lift had to be carried out by a crane with strength and versatility. The UNIC URW-706 was selected for this job, its 6 tonne capacity and lifting height of 19.5 meters, made it the perfect option for this job.
Not only did this mini but mighty crane help lift and install the pieces of glass, it also helped remove the old glass by uninstalling the old metal frames and fitting brand spanking new ones.
The majestic Straka Academy building was completed in 1896 giving it plenty of history and importance in the Czech Republic. As a popular tourist attraction, this project needed the most trustworthy mini spider crane to help install the new glazing with precision.
UNIC Cranes are currently distributed throughout a network of 28 dealers covering locations from the Czech Republic to the UAE, so an international job is not rare for our UNIC mini spider cranes. In fact, they often take more vacations than we do…
