JT Cranes Buy Three Unic Mini Cranes
UK plant hire company John Taylor Cranes have expanded their crane hire fleet with the purchase of three 2.9t spider cranes from UNIC Cranes Europe.
Established in 1981 with depots in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, John Taylor Cranes ventured into spider crane rental after buying their first spider cranes from UNIC Cranes Europe back in 2006. Their fleet of mini cranes now includes a range of UNIC models able to lift up to 6 tonnes.
JT Cranes have now invested in another three UNIC URW-295 models which have a 2.9 tonne capacity, 8.8 metre maximum lifting height and 600mm width. They chose this diesel powered crane over the competing Maeda model as the UNIC crane chassis is 150mm narrower, making it ideal for reaching both internal and external restricted access environments. This UNIC URW-295 also features a top of the range Rayco Wylie i4300 safe load indicator system which gives operator feedback on a high-resolution LCD screen.
