In the picturesque landscape of North Moravia, near the town of Frydek-Mistek, a stunning modern villa recently underwent a striking transformation. But to bring the vision to life, precision lifting was required, which is where UNIC Cranes and our trusted dealer, KMB STAVEBNÍ SERVIS, stepped in.
KMB has been a valued partner of ours for years, consistently demonstrating knowledge and reliability when it comes to utilising UNIC mini cranes for complex lifting tasks. For this particular project, their skilled crane operators were tasked with installing 35 large-format glass panes of varying sizes, along with positioning a jacuzzi onto the villa’s terrace. Given the challenges of handling such delicate materials in a high-end residential setting, precision and control were essential.
To carry out the job efficiently, KMB’s team used two UNIC mini cranes: the powerful UNIC-706 and the compact yet capable UNIC-095.
The UNIC-706, known for its 6-tonne lifting capacity and impressive reach of up to 19.5 metres, played a crucial role in moving the larger glass panes into place with ease. Its advanced radio remote control system enabled precise positioning, ensuring safe and accurate installation. Meanwhile, the UNIC-095, the most compact crane in the range, provided exceptional manoeuvrability in restricted spaces, making it ideal for navigating the villa’s terrace and working within confined areas. Despite its small footprint, this crane still boasts a lifting capacity of 0.995 tonnes and a maximum lifting height of 8.8 metres, proving its versatility in challenging environments.
Despite the logistical complexities of working on a hillside property, KMB’s operators showcased their skill and problem-solving abilities, adapting to the site’s unique constraints with ease. Their expertise, combined with the precision and reliability of UNIC mini cranes, ensured a smooth installation, allowing the villa’s expansive glass walls to frame the breathtaking views.
