KMB Stavební Servis, a trusted dealer of UNIC Cranes Europe, recently demonstrated the impressive capabilities of the UNIC-095 mini spider crane while dismantling the popular Dinosaur Park that is situated on the roof of the Harfa Shopping Centre in Prague.
The Dinosaur Park, renowned for its life-sized replicas of pre-historic creatures, required delicate handling to safely dismantle the exhibits and prepare them for winter storage. With its compact design and excellent lifting capacity, the UNIC-095 was the perfect choice for this intricate task.
Measuring just 0.6 metres wide when stowed, the crane was able to navigate the tight rooftop spaces with ease, ensuring efficient and safe operation. Despite its small footprint, the UNIC-095 boasts an impressive lifting capacity of 0.995 tonnes and a working radius of up to 8.41 metres. Each dinosaur structure was carefully dismantled, lowered, and secured for storage, ensuring the exhibits remain in perfect condition until their return.
Come springtime, the Dinosaur Park will re-open, refreshed and enhanced with new additions to its collection. Once again, the UNIC-095 is expected to play a crucial role in assembling the exhibition, proving its reliability and adaptability in challenging environments.
