UNIC Cranes Europe unveils new UNIC URW-345 lithium-ion pop up spider crane at Bauma 2022
The UNIC URW-345 lithium-ion pop up crane, a brand-new micro crane from UNIC Cranes Europe, will debut at Bauma from October 24 – 30, 2022.
The maximum lifting height and capacity of the URW-345 Pop-Up are 16.5m and 3.2t, respectively. This small spider crane, which is powered by a lithium-ion battery, is full of innovative features that make it ideal for working in small spaces.
The new, brilliant pop-up column is the URW-345’s most distinctive feature. The crane gives users more stability because the king-post is centred on the chassis. Due to the little overhang of the column, the pop-up column’s design also enables operators to work closer to impediments than its closest rival.
The URW-345 may be simply moved into position and can be squeezed through ordinary double doors thanks to expanding tracks that come included for increased stability.
The URW-345 improves its maximum operating radius from 9.82m to 15.7m and its lifting height from 10.9m to 16.5m with the four-section telescoping hydraulic jib. This versatile crane can fit into some of the tightest working spaces thanks to the inclusion of movable outriggers.
The URW-345 is a totally unique addition to the UNIC Cranes line because it is fully powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can also be utilised while it is charging.
“We are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest UNIC tiny spider crane, the UNIC URW-345 pop-up,” said Graeme Riley, CEO of UNIC Cranes Europe. To develop this breakthrough, we worked closely with Furukawa UNIC, and the business community has already reacted favourably.
The changeable outriggers on this machine allow operators to place them where they are needed in limited spaces or around obstacles on the job site. It is powered by a lithium-ion battery. Additionally, customers can access even more performance with Max+ capabilities with the changeable outriggers.
The 1000kg capacity 4-section telescopic hydraulic jib of the URW-345, he explained, “gives you similar reach to the larger UNIC models, but in a considerably more compact and manoeuvrable frame, taking the maximum hook height from 10.5m to 16.5m, and the maximum working radius from 9.82m to 15.7m.”
From October 24 – 30, 2022, UNIC Cranes Europe will be exhibiting at Bauma on stand FS1102/5 in the outdoor area, where visitors may view the UNIC URW-345.
