A Unic mini spider crane came up smelling of roses recently as it proved to be a practical solution for helping to create an Italian Renaissance inspired garden at the 2012 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
The 2.9 tonne capacity Unic URW-376 spider crane was used to help plant five 8 metre tall Cypress trees in the garden designed by Thomas Hoblyn and built by Bowles & Wyer Contracts.
This compact crane was ideal for working on this crowded and hard-to-reach site as its positionable outriggers could safely work on the garden’s soft and uneven terrain. The operator-friendly Unic URW-376 could be controlled accurately so the trees were planted in perfect alignment.
